Juliette Losq

Juliette Losq (b.1978) studied English Literature and History of Art at Newnham College, Cambridge (1997-00) and History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art (2000-01). She worked as an insurance broker in the City of London for three years before beginning her study of Fine Art at Wimbledon School of Art (2004- 7) and at the Royal Academy Schools (2007- ).

Prizes include the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2005 (first prize) and the Undergraduate Drawing Prize at Wimbledon School of Art, London 2005 (first prize). Selected solo shows include: Works on Paper, Newnham College, Cambridge University (2004, 2005). Selected group exhibitions include: BHF/Deutsche Postbank Exhibition, London (2004, 2005); the Guildford Arts Exhibition, Clyde and Co. Solicitors, Guildford (2004, 2005). the Hans Brinker Trophy Exhibition, Amsterdam (December 2005); 'Different Views' and 'Pairs' at The Drawing Gallery (2006) and Drawing Breath an international touring exhibition featuring 10 Years of The Jerwood Drawing Prize (2006-8). Her work was included in The Drawing Gallery's project space at The London Art Fair in 2006 and 2007 and The Drawing Gallery exhibition 40 Artists -80 Drawings in( 2009).
