Barry Martin (b. 1943) studied at Goldsmith's College School of Art (1961-66) and St Martins School of Art (1966-67). His work has been shown internationally over the past four decades, including solo shows at the Serpentine Gallery, London, and the Goya Gallery, Spain.
Martin has works in many public, corporate and private collections such as the Tate Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, the Arts Council of England, the Northern Arts Association, the British Museum, the Science Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, Paris, the Zaragosa Museum of Fine Art, Spain, the London Hospital Arts Trust, the Savoy Group and ICI. Aspects of Martin's work are featured in the 2004 BBC television production of From Beans to Bronze .
